Hope hauled the last heavy box up the stairs of the manor house, occasionally catching glimpses of the way her midnight black hair shone in the sunlight, when she passed the window in the living room of her apartment. "Thank heavens this is the last one," she muttered to herself, sliding the box down to rest on the floor, before straightening and rubbing the nagging ache in her back. She could have had help, all she needed to do was ask, but now that she was an adult she needed to stand on her own two feet, she reminded herself.

Straightening up, she looked around at the mass of boxes waiting for her to delve into. "Well, gone away and back again. Where do I start first?"

The phone trilled and she started for an instant, before extending her hand to the receiver on the shelf beside her. "Hope."

"Miss Hope, do you require any help? Lisi is wondering if you require her assistance." The muffled voice of one of her guardians flowed out of the earpiece. She had forgotten that living at the manor meant the goldfish bowl lifestyle she had tried her best to escape at college. Not that she’d had much opportunity to live a free lifestyle. She’d been lodged with a guardian family within the college grounds. Even then, her personal team of five guards had shadowed her every move—to classes, shopping and even to the hairdresser’s.

They hadn’t escaped her notice, the looks some of her classmates had thrown her way. Longing for the lifestyle they’d thought she enjoyed. Little did they know, Hope would happily have swapped, a lot of the time. Downtime had existed within a carefully vetted group of companions, each from houses of similar status. The cloying atmosphere she hated, but, nonetheless, she had submitted to her parents’ will. Only a few times had she sought to do activities that they would have deemed inappropriate, but her conscience had always kicked in, and she had derived no enjoyment from the guilty feelings that had overcome her.

"No thanks, Jeffrey. I have all the boxes up here and I am going to take my time going through everything." How could she explain that she needed a freedom that had been denied? That this small and almost insignificant rebellion was one she embraced? But she couldn’t. It wasn’t fair to Jeffrey to share that.

"Fine, Miss Hope. Oh, and I am supposed to remind you, the new Master has requested your presence in his library after sundown."

She nodded, knowing it was expected that she would take her oath of fealty. "Oh. Right. I’ll be down for sunset." She laid down the receiver. It’s one thing to owe your continued safety to a vampire nest Master, but quite another to be at his beck and call all the time, just as her parents had been. Her temper spiked momentarily. The emotion coiled through her then she shuddered, pushing away the negative thought, while absently reaching for the boxes she needed to stack, store or unpack. The rough exterior of some of them brushed against her hands. For now, she had time. Lots of time.

Ripping the tape off the first box, she then started to root through it, unwrapping reminders of her slightly more free college life, formulating arguments to put to her parents, knowing that the dice were stacked against her. Her life had been mapped out since her birth, but perhaps she could find a way around some of the roadblocks. At least she hoped so. With that thought, she set to work.

Brock Kinkaid, CPA, faced each day with a smile that hid his deepest desire. He wanted to be a father. Unfortunately, the gay men he knew were not into the daddy scene. Resigned to being childless, he lavished his attention on his niece and nephew. When Corey won tickets to see the local baseball team in action, they suckered him into taking them despite the fact he loathed the game. Who would have guessed one home run ball would change everything?

Anna Kate stood beside them an arm wrapped around each leg. She beamed up at them.

“When you gets married, can I be the flower girl? I want a really pretty dress that goes all the way to the floor and has lots of ruffles. It don’t has to be pink, ‘cause I know boys don’t like pink.” Her head swiveled back and forth. “Can I, please?”

Brock crouched beside the girl and Spencer mimicked his pose.

“Anna, baby. Spencer is my boyfriend, that doesn’t mean we’re getting married. We have to get to know each other a little better.”

“But, I wants him to be my Unca Spencer. I like him and he makes you smile when he kisses you. He doesn’t make you upset like that bad Nolan did.” Small hands cupped her uncle’s cheeks. “I really, really want that dress, Unca Brock, and Mommy will have to buy it if you gets married.” Her voice lowered to a whisper. “You know, I can’t wait for her to gets married because hell is made of fire and she said it would be frozen before she gots married again.”

The burst of laughter exploded before Spencer thought to stop it. Brock’s lips twitched as he struggled to maintain a straight face. “Well then, sweetheart, if I get married, I promise you’ll get to pick the dress you want.”

Happy, the youngster patted her uncle’s cheek.

Blond curls swiveled and a flushed cherub cheek pressed against Spencer’s cheek. “Will you buy me a candy bar?”

Both men stood, took a hand and joined the line. Fifteen dollars later, they stepped away from the counter.

“Thanks Unca Spencer. Don’t tell mommy you boughts it. She said it would ruin my dinner.” With a giggle, she darted off behind the bleachers to play, chocolate firmly in hand. Stunned, Spencer stared after her.

“Did I just get played by a four-year-old?”

Brock laughed and moved in the direction of the bleachers. “Yeah, you did.”

5/5 Stars
"This is the sweet story of a minor league baseball player, Spencer, whose entire life goal has been to make it to the Big Show, the major leagues, and his love interest Brock, loving brother, uncle and numbers cruncher, who wants nothing more than to have a family of his own. They meet, start dating, fall in love and hit a bunch of obstacles during the progression of this book and then, just when you think it can't get any better, author J.T. Cheyanne hits us with an epilogue worthy of double rainbows and puppies playing in a field of wild flowers that would never even think of causing anyone an allergic reaction. Throw in the fact that the sex was off-the-charts and the romance was shy and touching and these two actually courted instead of just falling into bed right away, and I can really, truly HIGHLY RECOMMEND Grand Slam to all my M/M romance friends.”--Jen, Amazon Reviewer

5/5 Stars
"JT's approach to being gay within the huge media circus of sport was brilliant. I loved the Spencer and Brock are very proud of their sexuallity and refuse to hide it. Their love for each other was very sweet and at times made my heart race. I love the flow of the story and the sexual chemistry between them was breathtaking. Congratulations JT you should be very proud!"--Laz, Amazon Reviewer

Both danger and sex are inescapable in the Amber Zone.

Jaci Harmon was born a Sapphire, but after she’s summoned to receive her final designation, the testing reveals she carries a gene slated for eradication. Within a day, she’s sterilized and dumped in the Amber Zone, where the damaged are corralled away from the rest of New Atlanta. Scared and alone, Jaci would rather die than face her future as an Amber.

Born in the Amber Zone, Xander Dimos is a product of a lifetime spent under the oppression of the Repopulation Laws. Decades of suffering have taught the Ambers to make the zone a place where touch, sex, and unconditional acceptance ease the pain of their fate. Jaci has a lot to learn about her new home, and it’s Xander’s responsibility to guide her through the differences and the dangers safely.

With the simmering undercurrents of sexual chemistry growing between them, and in the midst of discovering the Gov’s true motives, Jaci and Xander must overcome his secret and accept their love as undeniable…even if the time allotted to share it is short.

Warning: This title is intended for readers over the age of 18 as it contains explicit sex scenes and/or situations (including BDSM, light bondage, anal play, sex toys, and f/f/m and m/f/m menage) and adult language, and may be considered offensive to some readers.

“Let me go.” Jaci shot him an acid glare she hoped would burn and eat at him like he was doused with drain cleaner. She was mad and she had to stay mad at him, or she’d never be strong enough to do this. It would also help immensely if he was angry at her too. Today, she wouldn’t be able to survive the nurturing, protective man she loved.

She was a mere second away from tears when she turned away from him so he couldn’t see her face and headed for the door.

With a long stride Xander pinned her between his body and the door. “No, you’re going to sit over there and listen to me.” His voice was low, dangerous and right next to her ear.

With her hands still cuffed behind her back, the stray thought that they must be dangerously close to touching parts of him she’d never touched before made an unscheduled and unwanted appearance in her mind.

Then, as if he were psychic, he took a step back, grabbed her cuffs and led her into a chair. “You are going to listen to me.”

“Why? You want to make excuses for the necessary lies? The sex that wasn’t sex? The woman in the hall?” she spat.

Xander paced past her chair, eyes flaring, jaw muscle working, then stood silent for a long minute.

“Where have you been?” he asked her calmly.

“None of your damn business,” she hissed back.

“It is my business. I’m supposed to be protecting you.” He watched her as she took the time to inhale slowly, calming herself, and pulling it together before she spoke.

“Protecting me?” She snorted. “You stupid ass.” She was calmer now, except for a slight quaver in her voice that betrayed the devastating explosion of feelings lurking beneath the surface. “You hurt me more than any psycho that’s out there. You pretended to be my friend, made me think I would be okay here. When I was at the most vulnerable and painful point in my entire life, you hurt me, Xander. You should have told me. You should have told me you have a girlfriend. You should have told me you and Jordan were nothing but my temporary bodyguards, not my friends.” She cleared her throat and looked down at the table in front of her. “You knew I was falling in love with you and you took advantage of that.

Her scent was delicious. That captivating fragrance had hidden beneath the tumultuous smells of the farmers’ market, so the wolf’s first breath carried only flowers and vegetables, the tangy bite of overripe produce and dirt. And then her.

His attraction was immediate and powerful. She smelled more than good; she smelled right. He moved closer, following the trail she had unknowingly left him. She crouched over a bucket of frilly pink flowers, the tough stems falling away beneath her blade, wet and earthy. One quick slash, a deft twist of her wrist, and she handed the newly shorn flowers to a customer. Her hands riveted him even as her scent intoxicated him.

He’d visited this farmers’ market many times before he’d grown weary of fighting his wolf and had concealed himself deep inside the bayou, where he could be both man and beast, safe from the enemies who hunted him. He’d never noticed this female on those visits. She was new. Wonderfully different, even though the market was the same sleepy slice of stands perched on the edge of the Louisiana bayou he remembered from his previous visits. The summer heat slowed her down, putting a sleepy glint in her eyes as she fanned herself, fighting the sensual prickle. Her skin glistened with a sheen of sweat despite the airy sundress she wore.

He liked that sundress. The skirt was all colorful patches, the hem stopping mid-thigh and putting her long, long legs on display for him. She’d kicked off her shoes and twisted her honey-blonde hair up on top of her head. Tendrils escaped, however, curling insistently in the heat. The flower tucked in her hair was a surprise, a bold, deep pink hibiscus that drew his eyes away from the thin straps crisscrossing her bare back and shoulders. The dress cupped her breasts, molding her the way he wanted to shape her with his hands.

She wasn’t wearing a bra, and she looked good enough to eat.

His mouth watered from her delicious scent. He wanted to drag his tongue over all her curves and folds until he discovered if her taste matched that scent.

An answering heat tore through his body, an unexpected arousal that lengthened his cock. Right now, he watched from the shadows, his wolf unseen, but staying there much longer was impossible. He was hunted, and the market had no room for the wild and the uncivilized—or for the dark animal side he kept trapped inside. When he inhaled, he knew who had recently had sex and which women were coming into their fertile times. Sex was a pulsing rhythm beneath the surface of their everyday transactions that none of them were aware of. But he was.

He didn’t know her name—his wolf had no use for names—but her scent covered the market. While he’d been hidden deep in the bayou, she’d come here, often enough to mark this place as her own. She smelled of sunlight, of honey and sage. Good things, although her scent whispered of arousal too, and the strength of her needing made him wonder if she could possibly be the one. There were dark shadows under her eyes. A blue-moon brides always  dreamt, sexy, erotic dreams that would wake her early and leave her sleepless and aching for a lover’s touch. She was aroused now, but he didn’t know if she enjoyed that sensual state. Maybe she ignored that side of her nature like so many of the fully human did, denying her body had desires.

He wasn’t human. And he needed.

If she was his blue-moon bride, she could ease his loneliness. He’d never again have to worry that one night he’d fail to shift back from wolf to man. Tomorrow night, when the blue moon rose over the bayou, he’d know for certain if this woman was the one. For now, though, he stalked her from the shadows, watching her engage with the market’s customers, laughing. Alive. Wonderfully human.

She represented famille and a future as something more than an animal. If she wasn’t the one, if he failed to find his bride, he could den with a local wolf and produce pups. Whether or not that litter would be human, he didn’t know. It wouldn’t matter. That kind of pairing couldn’t save him from the animal madness slowly consuming him—and his Pack.

Tomorrow night, when the blue moon rose, the wolf would hunt whomever the blue moon found—and that chosen mate would run.

Let her be the one.

About the Author:
Heated romance. Hot heroes. Happily ever after. Writing as Anne Marsh, I am known for deliciously sensual romance. My nationally best-selling shapeshifter romance, THE HUNT (Dorchester, October 2009) was a double finalist in Borders/RomCon’s 2010 Readers Crown contest. Dorchester released BOND WITH ME, a fallen angel romance set in Moscow in the near-future, digitally in September 2010 and in trade paperback in July 2011. BOND WITH ME was also a finalist in the 2011 Readers Crown contest. Kensington Brava released the follow-up book, HIS DARK BOND, in April 2012 and the book made bestseller lists at Barnes and Noble.

Fall 2012 saw the launch of my sexy contemporary romance series from Kensington Brava about smoke jumpers fighting fire and finding love in Northern California (BURNING UP, October 2012 and SLOW BURN, April 2013). BURNING UP was the featured book in a December 5th, 2011 Times magazine article on military heroes and romance novels. A spin-off series about hotshots starts in July 2013 and I’m also writing an erotic paranormal series about Cajun werewolves searching for their fated mates in the Louisiana Bayou (TEMPTED BY THE PACK, PLEASURED BY THE PACK).

I live in Northern California with my husband, two kids and four cats. After ten years of graduate school and too many degrees, I escaped to become a technical writer. When not planted firmly in front of the laptop translating Engineer into English, I enjoy gardening, running (even if it’s just to the 7-11 for slurpees), and reading books curled up with my kids. Welcome erotic romance author, Celeste Carrara...

Welcome to my blog, Celeste! I love your cover and this new book sounds great :) Wishing you all the best with the tour and sales. Let's get started with the questions...

1)   What is your writing routine?
My ideas come to me in dreams, as I’m driving my car, or they come from past experience. I have notes written everywhere! When I sit to put a story together, I gather up all the papers, and note pads filled with ideas, and try to make a cohesive story out of them. Everything is always hand written, and then I start writing with my laptop. This is almost a daily routine. At any given time, I am writing 2-3 different stories.

2)   Which is your favorite romance subgenre to read? To write?
My favorite romance subgenre to read, and write is paranormal. I know, no surprise there. It has always been a favorite of mine. I’m also a big fan of YA paranormal romance. People often find this shocking considering how explicit my scenes are in my own books. Sometimes I just like a sweet YA romance!

3)   What do you expect from an editor?
I am very lucky to have a fantastic editor. I rely on her for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. For the developmental things, I rely on my beta readers. They are the ones to tell me when a plot isn’t working, or if a character isn’t likeable. Don’t get me wrong my editor will let me know if something needs fixing when it comes to storyline, but I use her expertise in grammar to help me with my run on sentence problem!

4)   What are you working on right now?
Right now I am working on the next full-length novel in my Paranormal City          series. It will be book 5, and is titled Give Me Your Love. I expect to have this out sometime in the fall.

5)   Your biggest piece of advice to aspiring novelists?
Always use an editor! No matter how many times you review your story, you will always miss something. It’s usually the simple things, like spelling mistakes!

6) What was your favorite subject in school and why?

I hated school! I really did, but senior year I was able to pick an interesting Science alternative. It was forensics and I loved it!

7) What is your favorite dessert?
I’m not really a dessert person. But, when I do have a craving for something sweet, it’s always the same thing. Pillsbury white cake mix (I make cupcakes with it) and Pillsbury vanilla frosting. I’m a simple girl!

8) High heels, sneakers or flip flops?
Converse sneakers!!

*Adult Material*

With apprehension I answered, “Serena. My name is Serena, and no I don’t believe we’ve met before.” Unsure of what his reaction would be, I waited for his reply.

A look of realization flickered across his features. “I’m honored to meet you Serena.” He took my hand in his and kissed it gently. “I had no idea Sebastian’s daughter would be so exquisite.”

I remained silent, not knowing what to do. The knowledge of who I was would either make him want to get closer or run far away from me. Either way most men treaded very carefully around me and I knew my father was the reason.

“What brings you to a place like this, Serena? I wouldn’t imagine your father approving.” He spoke with a sexy grin that made me wish he would make a move on me.

“It’s my birthday! Besides, I’m actually here often. I’ve never seen you here before. Where you been hiding?” I asked with a flirtatious smile.

“I’ve been out of town for awhile and got back recently. Looks like I have perfect timing. Please tell me you’re here alone and that I’m just catching you after a feeding instead of a celebratory screw.”

Instinctively I moved closer to him, my eyes never leaving his. “I’m here painfully alone.” Our attraction hummed in the air as we stood locked in a heated stare.

Casually, Gage extended his hand out to move a strand of hair away from my face. “No one should be alone on their birthday.”
