Welcome Ellora's Cave author, Jennifer Kacey...

1.    What do you wish men understood about women? – That we’re just plain emotional and that’s not a bad thing. Yes it can be drama-filled, and confusing, but it also brings deep understanding, empathy and passion that we would otherwise not be capable of.

2.    Do you only work on one book at a time? – Heavens no. At minimum I’m normally writing on one full-length novel plus a short story, making notes on other books down the road in the series along with other books no one knows about. Ooh and then I’ll slip edits in as well as soon as they hit my inbox. Lots of things going at once. Always!

3.    Who is your favorite fictional couple? – Romeo and Juliet which is probably because I just finished watching Shakespeare in Love. It’s such an epic love story. It’s traversed years and eras, being re-made again and again, and adapted to fit the current day and time. They are a time-less couple which is why they’re my favorite.

4.    Favorite TV show? – Big Bang Theory! Everyone who knows it sing along! Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur… Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, PURR, purr….. LOVE THAT SHOW!

5.    Do you set daily writing goals? Word count? Number of chapters? Do you get a chance to write every day? – It honestly depends on what my deadline schedule is and how many other things I have going at the same time. If I’m really rushing I’ll try to get 3000 words in every day. No, I don’t get to write every day but I’d say 6 days a week. With working full-time, along with writing, sometimes life just gets in the way.

6.    Who was the last person you hugged? – My son, who is 10 going on 40 and one of the best huggers ever to grace my life.

7.    What are you working on now? – Jenna’s Consent the next full length novel in the Members Only series. It features the corset wearing self-suspension beauty, Jenna. Nick, the man she’s tried not to love. And Ian, the one she’s never gotten out of her heart. Two men who can’t stand each other and the submissive caught somewhere between love and lust.
I’m also working on, Accidental Voyeur, which a quickie I’ll be self-pubbing in the Members Only series.

8.    Tell us about your latest release and where we can find it – Haleigh’s Ink, my latest release, is about a woman determined to take her life back after she nearly lost her battle with breast cancer. She finds love and acceptance and the start of something new in the arms of the best friend who walked away from her years earlier, and his Dom. They open her eyes to a world she’s only dreamed of and a life she’s always wanted, but fear may stop all of them if they can’t find a way to give love a chance.

BLURB:

Members Only, Book Two

Ink.

A three-lettered word that means different things to many people. Pictures and words that might stand as a reminder of love, loss, rebellion, or camaraderie. For Haleigh Grace, it meant freedom.

Walking through the doors of the tattoo parlor, Inkfluence, marked the start of taking her life back. Making it what she wanted it to be. No one was going to tell her she couldn’t. Not ever again.

Little did she know that behind those doors stood Kyle Muse. He was her best friend, who had walked away years ago without a backwards glance. The one man she fantasized would someday be her knight in shining armor. The one she saved herself for.

But, he has a knight of his own. Tall, dark, and dangerously sexy, Scott Preston. The owner of the very shop Haleigh has an appointment with at midnight.

Feelings long buried rise to the surface and the three find themselves bound by more than just ink…

A Romantica® ménage BDSM erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

EXCERPTS
“So you aren’t disappointed he’s gay?” He repeated it again. She shook her head and raised an eyebrow. He saw her mind rolling the syllable “duh” around but figured saying it wasn’t going to happen since it wasn’t polite or some shit. “Woman, you are confusing as all hell.”

“You have atrocious language skills.”

“There goes the good manners badge I was working on. And princess, I haven’t used any really bad four-letter words since you walked in but if you don’t start talking, I’m going to drop F-bombs left and right. So stop stalling and spit it out. Jesus. And you’re about to keel over.”

He grabbed her arm, kind of gently, and dragged her in front of the couch facing the wall of photos. He pressed her shoulder until she sat with a thump, and before she scrambled up, he planted his fists on both sides of her on the cushion, caging her in. She opened her mouth to tell him to shove it probably, in the nicest of terms he was sure, but he pinned her with a stare that scared most full-grown men.

He cocked his head, waiting until she huffed out, “Fine.”

It sounded like “Yes Sir” to him and hot damn, she made Mr. Stiffy jump up to say hello.

He stalked off, snagging her a cup of water from the cooler in the corner. Her focus was trained outside where Kyle had gone. Scott glanced up, catching Oscar staring at him with a grin. He glared at the water in his hand and at Oscar again. Oscar’s grin grew from tiny to ginormous. Damn, looked like “ridicule boss” just got added onto Oscar’s to-do list.
