Hello!! It's so great to have a husband and wife writing team at my blog today...I think you're my first! Cannot wait to find out more about you both and how you manage to create stories together - it's something that ain't never gonna happen in my house! Let's start the questions....
1.
What do you wish men understood about women?
DK: I wish we
understood how to make them 100% happy 100% of the time.
KK: I wish all men
knew how to please a women in bed. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about
that with my man. He's mastered that lesson.
2.
Do you only work on one book at a time?
DK: I'll often
outline a few books at a time, but I'll actually write the prose one at a time.
For example, right now I'm outlining both Seduced
by Lies, a romance and mystery, and Kiss
Me in Cairo, the sequel to Kiss Me in
Paris, but I'm only writing Seduced
by Lies.
KK: I usually have
multiple projects going on at once. As Dmytry said, right now we're working on Seduced by Lies as well as Kiss Me in Cairo, but we're also working
on a serial novel, Kiss Me Forever
(starring Damon Deveaux, a cousin to the Deveaux sisters) and I'm working on a
new Three Lost Kids trilogy, The
Forbidden Book.
3.
Who is your favorite fictional couple?
DK: Rose and Jack
from Titanic. That's my favorite romance film.
KK: Rose and Derek
from the Seduced Saga.
4.
Do you have a favorite quote that sums up how you feel about
life?
DK:
“Don't cry because it's over, smile because it
happened.” ― Dr. Seuss
KK: "Live your questions now, and
perhaps even without knowing it, you will live along some distant day into you
answers." Rainer Maria Rilke
5.
Do you set daily writing goals? Word count? Number of
chapters? Do you get a chance to write every day?
DK:
I don't write every day, but when I do, I set small goals for myself. Usually
my goal is 250 words every fifteen minutes. It doesn't sound like a lot of
words, but it adds up to 1000 words every hour.
KK:
When I'm in the writing phase of a project, I like to get 5-10k in per day
until that project is completed.
6. What do
you like better, Twitter or Facebook? Why?
DK: I usually prefer Twitter. I like the
concise tweets. But I do love Facebook groups.
KK: I used to love Twitter (it's how Dmytry
and I met after all!), but I've fallen for Facebook recently. It's such a fun
way to connect with fans.
7.
What are you working on now?
DK: Seduced by Lies and Kiss Me in Cairo. Both are an exciting mix of mystery and romance.
However, Seduced by Lies is
paranormal while Kiss Me in Cairo is
contemporary.
KK: What
he said, plus we've also added a hot addition to the Kiss Me cast. Damon
Deveaux, of Kiss Me Forever, will
have his own serial novel.

No one knows my secret. Ever since high
school, ever since I started living in fear, no one has known the true me. But
then I met him, and I couldn't hide anymore.
He became my hero, saving me from the villain
of my past. He became my friend, his smile a blanket of warmth. And he scared
me. Because he, this beautiful man, he might become more. Then he'd see the
real me, and I couldn't let that happen.
My name is Winter, and what I desire most I
can't have.
Flashes of the night I was
drugged rush back to me. His strong arms carrying me through the streets of
Paris. The feel of his heart beating as my head rested against his chest. The
soft press of his lips against my forehead when he thought I was asleep.
Oh shit. I'm falling for the
cowboy. Cade.
But we can't be anything more. He has his own
secrets. His own darkness he keeps hidden, like the letter he keeps with him
everywhere he goes.
The letter he refuses to open.
