Carina Press Promo - Jodie Griffin....

Blurb:

When it comes to sex, Bella Massey wants a man who'll get down on his knees and beg. And although she's got the hots for firefighter Marcus Aiello, she can't believe an alpha male like him could have a submissive bone in his body.
Marcus isn't looking for a relationship, but Bella is not like any woman he's ever met. When he discovers what the sexy librarian is really looking for in a man, he's even more intrigued. But giving up control is difficult for Marcus--no matter how much he desires it.
Despite their intense attraction, Marcus and Bella's budding relationship is at an impasse. Until a weekend at a unique B&B offering all manner of naughty nightly activities teaches them both just how good it can feel to lose control...

Excerpt:

"You're cheating." Bella shook her head wryly as Myrtle laid down her second straight flush of their weekly poker night. "I haven't figured out how yet, but I know you're doing it. Bunch of scam artists." She softened the accusation with a teasing smile, but before Myrtle, Edna or Alice could answer, chaos erupted in the hallway just outside the nursing home's community room.
Two firefighters hurried by, followed by paramedics pushing a stretcher, and the room fell silent. That didn't bode well, and Bella's heart twisted for the three sitting at the table. They'd each lived at Roseville Manor about six years, and they were close with all the residents.
Caroline Reeves, her friend and an ER nurse who also volunteered there, stuck her head in the door and gave a thumbs-up. "Everyone's okay. The director said they're testing emergency response times."
Sighs of relief rippled across the room, and everyone began talking at once.
Relieved herself, Bella looked at her favorite senior threesome and grinned. She and Alice sat on one side of the table, and Myrtle and Edna sat on the opposite side. Bella tapped her cards on the table. "Wasting playing time, ladies. Are you in?" She tossed some pennies into the bowl in the center of the table. "The bet is five, and I'm telling you, this is my hand."
She said it, but she knew it wasn't true. She was losing, and she always lost. Maybe because the wild three were in their nineties, and they'd had more time playing poker than she'd been alive. Or maybe they really did cheat. She didn't care. She loved them, and just enjoyed spending time with them.
Myrtle snorted. "Humph. We'll see about that." She tossed her five pennies into the bowl.
"You should know better than that, dear. You're toast." Alice's sweet tone was completely at odds with her words. She dropped her bet in the pot and anted up.
Bella laughed, waiting to see what would come out of Edna's mouth. Their usual banter often had her laughing so hard her stomach hurt. But right now, the woman was quiet, her eyes comically wide as she looked across the table between Bella and Alice.
"Hello, ladies."
Bella jerked at the sound of the deep, masculine voice, and nearly dropped her cards. There was a hint of roughness to it, enough to send shivers down her spine. To cover her reaction, she turned and looked up. Her heart skipped a long beat. Standing behind them, in a firefighter uniform and holding paramedic gear, was the sexiest, hottest guy she'd ever laid eyes on. Super hot. Heart-attack hot. Five-alarm-fire hot.
His Italian heritage was stamped on every delectable inch of his six-foot-tall muscular body. His dark hair was wavy and thick, and his eyes were the color of dark chocolate, her favorite indulgence. If he'd been a piece of candy, she'd have gobbled him right up. Instead, she picked up her bottle of water and took a sip, trying to quench her sudden thirst.
"I'm Marcus Aiello. What's the game?" He cast a glance around the table, smiling at each woman as if she were the only one in his sight.
Ninety-three-year-old Myrtle looked him up and down as if she was undressing him in her imagination. "Poker. We play every Wednesday. Want to join us?"
"It depends," Marcus said with a wink and a devilish grin, not at all taken aback by Myrtle's obvious once-over. "Is it strip poker?"

Merry, Sexy Christmas!!!

Woohoo!! Christmas is here!!

What are you guys up to? Lots of family, friends, food and wine, I hope! ;)

Christmas lunch will be spent with my parents and my hubby's as well as the kids and dog - I am lucky enough to not be hosting this year so will relax and thoroughly enjoy, yay!

As the year draws to end, I'm already starting to think what I want to achieve in 2013 and there will definitely be a series on the cards...a trilogy, I hope. I'm thinking along the lines of three sisters or three employees working for the same business :)

With several ideas bouncing around, the series is still very much in the planning stage but the biggest stickler is whether to do historical or contemporary - I am so torn, lol!

Anyway, we shall see - in the meantime, I want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all my lovely readers who continue to support my writing and badger me to get the next story written. I am thrilled that I have just contracted novella number 4 and hope it will be released sometime during Summer 2013, I'll keep you posted!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! MAKE IT A GOOD ONE!!

Saturday Promo - Maxine Mansfield...

Blurb:

Larksong Hammerstrike has always been just the younger sister of Princess Aryanna. Never quite as pretty or as smart, always lacking, a mere empath whose power gets her into trouble more often than not. But at Carnalval, the festival of all things sexual, she unleashes her sensual side for a night in the arms of a masked stranger. When morning dawns, Lark can't resist a peek beneath the mask of her lover and is once again crushed by fate. The man of her lusty adventure is none other than the future Lord of the High Elves and destined to marry her sister.

As heir to the kingdom of Landis and current instructor of wizardry at the Academy of Magical Arts, Sarco Sunwalker is honor bound to rise above the temptation of the beautiful empathic student who invades his mind, body, and soul. But when sparks fly, lightning strikes, and thunder rolls, Sarco finds himself more than tempted by the storm of Lark's passion and vows to find a solution that will prevent a war between races, fulfill an infamous quest, and win Lark's hand.

Excerpt:

There was only one word that could describe the creature standing before him. Wonderful.

“Did you say something?” the woman whispered.

He shook his head. “Nothing, I just can’t believe my luck. You really are real and here with me.”

She smiled, but her smile didn’t extend to her eyes.

Before another heartbeat passed or another breath taken, he stood at her side. With tenderness, he gazed into her gentle, masked face and took both of her hands in his. He was humbled as her fingers trembled even more than his own did. “We don’t have to do this if you’d rather not.”

She smiled wider, and her eyes gleamed with mischief. “I suppose we might as well. After all, we’re already here, and you’re at least halfway undressed.”

Sliding his hands up her arms and around her shoulders to her back, Sarco felt for and found the clasps holding her gown together. With the flick of a wrist, they gave way, and with a swish, the silky fabric fell to her hips exposing lush, rose-tipped breasts. Just the right size to hold in both hands, to fondle, to caress, to taste.

“Hmm, it seems you’re halfway undressed yourself.”

SOLD!!! Novella number 4...

YAY!!!!!

I am happy to announce that yesterday a lovely new contract dropped into my inbox from The Wild Rose Press...."Teach Me To Ride" (working title) has been accepted and I hope will be released by the summer 2013.

This is a new contemporary erotic romance set again in England but immersed into the sexy, scandalous world of British show jumping. Here's the blurb:

Local newspaper journalist, Caroline James has ambitions to work in London. She wants to be the best and youngest female investigative journalist the city has ever seen. Caroline has shut down personally and forged her career with savage single-mindedness. The problem is, no London paper will give her a chance without some big credentials to back up her hunger for success. She hasn’t the money to leave her small picturesque hometown of Fayre Mead, England. She’s stuck and her resentment is building.
Horse trainer, Michael Canton has made mistakes of his own. The son of a famous show jumper, Michael’s mother warned him off a career in the ring but with passion burning for horses flowing through his veins, he couldn’t stay away. The compromise was training rather than the flashy showmanship, betrayal and infidelity rife in the show jumping world. Now his father wants him to race in the 2016 Olympics…
When he meets Caroline, sparks fly emotionally, ambitiously and sexually. Someone is going to get burned…

I am currently planning out my very first trilogy which I hope my editor will love as much as I do - more details to follow in the New Year...

Welcome fellow Wild Rose Press author, Luna Zega...

Hi, Luna - welcome back to my blog! How are you? Pull up a chair, grab a coffee and we'll start chatting. Looking forward to hearing what you've been up to and what you have planned for 2013. Merry Christmas!

1)  Who is your favourite author and why?

I absolutely love everything written by Elizabeth George. She writes British mysteries. I get lost in her stories. They are so complex and multilayered. I mainly read her for her character Barbara Havers, a troubled detective who is partnered with an Earl. Awkward.  The way they’re relationship has developed over the series is pure genius.

 2)  When did you first consider yourself a writer?

I wrote stories in spiral bound notebooks when I was a kid and I’ve always been a voracious reader. I didn’t think I could make a living as a writer, so I became an English teacher. Yeah, I know, making a living as a teacher is no picnic either. Because of my English background, I eventually became a technical writer. I started my fiction career a few years ago when I quit my boring, mind numbing job in Alaska and moved to the Ozarks.

3)  Describe your writing space?

I write in my living room. I sit in a blue, leather recliner with my laptop. The west and south walls are mostly windows. At this very moment, there are five deer standing in the orchard in my front yard. I can watch weather fronts as they approach through the valley. It’s truly an inspirational writing space. Only problem, is that it is right next to the greenhouse, so during the spring and summer, my front yard because Grand Central.

 4)  What are you reading now?

The Ethical Slut: A Practical Guide to Polyamory, Open Relationships and Other Adventures by Dossie Easton and Janet W. Hardy. I find the concept of polyamory quite intriguing. I’m not sure that humans are set up to be monogamous. Sure swans are, but humans? I find the openness of polyamory admirable, but I’m not sure I’m mature enough to handle it. I’ve found this book very helpful in getting my mind around the concept.

5)  How many books have your written?  Which is your favourite?

I’ve written 4 contemporary romances and 2 erotica novellas. I’m working on a third at the moment. I have two favorites: Santorini Sunset and Southern Seduction. I describe Santorini Sunset as Bridget Jones meets the Wedding Date. My personality and sense of humor are very evident in this story. I like Southern Seduction because the guy in the story is based on my elementary, junior and high school crush. Shoot, I ran into him at a class reunion and I swear if he’d smiled at me, I would’ve run away with him. I still don’t think he knows my name. Southern Seduction is what would happen if the guy ever recognized me. LOL.

 6)  What comes first, plot or characters?

Cat names. Seriously. I start with the names of the cats and develop the characters based on that. In Redneck Ex, the main character has two mutt cats named Sipowicz and Goren. She’s a much different person than the main character in Santorini Sunset who has two purebred Maine Coon cats named Sherlock and Mycroft.

7)  Do you ever suffer from writer’s block?

Nope. Thank goodness. The only writer’s block I suffer is folks and events blocking me from writing.

8)  What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

I live on a farm in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains. We raise heritage breed (essentially endangered farm animals) chickens, rabbits and ducks. We’re building up our operation to include goats, sheep, pigs and geese. We also raise crops for the local farmers’ markets. In addition to the farm, I enjoy cooking, reading, quilting and photography.

9)  Tell us about your latest book?

Tokyo Tease is my latest erotica story. Natalie James lives in Tokyo and has a huge crush on her co-worker Kentaro. Natalie is somewhat clueless and doesn’t get that the interchanges at work are flirtatious in manner. So, Kentaro decides to show her what he wants…on the train ride to work. The groping on the train leads to some hot and rowdy sex at the office.

10) What’s next for you?

I’m working on an erotica that is based on online dating. A woman falls in love with a soldier in Afghanistan. She spends her lunch hour reading his e-mails and falls deeper every day. When he shows up at her office, sparks and clothes fly.
Southern Seduction

Saturday promo - Kasey Moone...

Blurb:

For an entire year, Mira Perrin has worked as a file clerk for Jeremy Rain, a hot and hunky radio owner, in Atlanta. A man who doesn't even know she exists. When their paths cross one unexpected night at Mira's night job, Jeremy offers her a chance to move up in the company by serving as his personal assistant. Desperate to earn extra income, she agrees, only to discover that sometimes the sweetest pleasure can be found once she's off the clock...

Jeremy Rain is shocked to discover Mira is his employee. And that she's gorgeous to boot. Though she's a little outspoken and wears ugly black pant suits, he's intrigued by her bluntness and work ethic. He quickly discovers that his smokin' hot employee is full of surprises in and out of the office...

But will these two have the courage to live for more than 9 to 5...or will they let love pass them by?

Excerpt:

She met his gaze. “Will that be all, Mr. Rain?”

He leaned forward, his heady, masculine, scent colliding into her like a drug, making her weak in the knees.

His lips quirked. “I’m not going anywhere.”

She could think of no reply. Her palms touched the wall behind her. Her heart settled into a dull thud. Good Lord, why was he staring at her like that? Was he attracted to her?

Imprisoned by his stare, her mind turned back to her earlier fantasy of him on the dance floor. How she’d ground against him. How he’d cupped her breast.

Now his eyes bore into her, holding her immobile. He lifted one of her loose braids, slowly, to twirl around his long fingers. She had the sudden urge to reach up and suck the digits into her mouth. To taunt him to the point of insanity. Weakly, she looked away.

He dragged her chin back. Then leaned over and kissed her.

It was good.

So good.

Lazily, he teased her lips, like he had all the time in the world, awakening every nerve ending in her body, pushing her toward a slow and steady fire. She melted against him. Fell into the slow tug of his lips. Knew that she was losing it, but didn’t give a damn. The feel of his gentle tongue claiming her mouth, stroking her lips, made her tremble with desire, made her pussy flutter in anticipation.

This was her fantasy come to life. Had she made it happen simply by wishing for it? Had it been that easy? Perhaps. Stranger things have happened.

She lost herself in the moment, dragging her hand down his torso, around the lines of his six pack, settling above the heavy buckle of his jeans.

The taste of him. The sound of his erratic breathing. The feel of his skin.

My God. The man knew how to kiss. How to turn a woman’s world upside down in the span of a minute.

Cocooned by his intoxicating masculinity, slowly, she began to unlatch his belt buckle, lightheaded with need.

At the contact, he muttered a stream of obscenities and stepped aside, while she collapsed against the wall, with rubbery bones and sweaty palms. She touched her swollen lips. Then, shyly, met his steady gaze.

“I shouldn’t have done that,” he hissed.

Reality slammed into her like a sledge hammer. Simmering with pent up lust, she wiped her sticky palms on her pants and breathed deeply. “Don’t worry. It won’t happen again.”

Welcome erotic romance writer, Ostara Mikah...

Love In Small Doses
by Ostara Mikah
Indie/Self-Published
Erotic Contemporary Romance
Heat Level: Sizzling
Length: 284 pages

Available at:

Blurb:

These are six stories of people who have given up on ever finding true love, only to find out that love was looking for them.

SASHA - A woman who was scared to love after a brutal high school attack.

CHARLIE - A man who was torn between his family's traditions and the one true love of his life.

These and four more stories of sensual pleasure, conflict and love that calls for the ultimate happily ever after.

Excerpt:
When Sasha came back into the bar, they were silent for a moment, and then he said “Pixie don’t worry about that dream. You are still the toughest girl I know. I won’t say a word to anyone.” She breathed a sigh of relief and went over to him and hugged him. The hug was long and sweet. Beau stood there with her in his arms and was content. Her head barely reached his to his shoulder, this put all of her soft girly parts in line with his hard and manly parts. This made him want to hold her for as long as she needed. He kissed the top of her head. He held her tighter to try and calm the rising heat that he was feeling. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the feel of him against her. He was so handsome and sweet that she could not stop herself from having feelings for him. The image of his deep blue eyes and his lovely smile danced in her head. She knew at that moment that she wanted to kiss him. Then he said “Come on Pixie Girl lets finish this up so that we can go home and Lana won’t tan our hides.” When she did not move away from him right away, he paused. She stood there as if she were trying to make up her mind about something. Then she moved as close as she could to him and slowly reached up and touched his face. Beau watched her hand as if in slow motion. He was barely breathing as her soft hand made contact with his skin. The look in her eyes called out to him. As if they were asking him for the kiss. Her hand went from his cheek, to his lips, down his chin, to end at the nape of his neck. With her eyes never leaving his face she witnessed the growth of his passion for her. She saw the way his eyes closed as she caressed his cheek. The way his mouth opened slightly, as they kissed her fingers as they touched his lips. She heard when he stopped breathing as her hand reached his throat. His eyes widened as her lips drew closer to his. “Beau” was all he heard as he closed the gap between their lips and kissed her as gently as he could. As they kissed the electricity between them flowed. Her hand found the opening of his shirt and caressed his chest and collar bone softly. “Pixie was all he could say when the kiss ended leaving them both gasping for air. By the look in Beau’s face, Pixie knew that he had really enjoyed the kiss they shared.

Welcome Decadent Publishing author, Kelli Scott!

Hi Kelli! So happy to host you on my blog today - I don't think we've 'met' before so I'm looking forward to learning more about you and your work. Let's get started with the questions...

1)   When and why did you decide you wanted to be a published author?

I’m not sure how this crazy ride started. I got a story stuck in my head one day. The plot and characters kept me up nights. I continued adding to it, and finally decided to write it down. The story ideas wouldn’t stop, so neither did I. Eventually I began entering writing contests and getting agent and editor requests. Sounds easy, but it wasn’t. I got plenty of rejections before my first contract.

2)   What is the best and worse thing you have learned from an editor/agent?

I’ve done everything from using the wrong words to misplacing commas to repeating the same word over and over. I have learned so much about grammar and punctuation as well as general dos and don’ts from editors I’ve worked with. They make my writing better with each book.

3)   Favourite author/s? I love Janet Evanovich!!!!

4)   What is your typical day?

I don’t have typical “writing” days. I have a day job like everyone else. I write, edit or do my social networking before work, on my lunch break, after work and on my days off.

5)   Who would you cast to play your hero & heroine in a movie?

My story is so naughty I’d have to cast porn stars, but for fun probably Sandra Bullock as Heather because she’s pretty but doesn’t know it. She’s amusing and a bit self-deprecating about her life and looks. Tasha would be played by Renee Zellweger and Dr. Simon…let’s just go crazy and cast Channing Tatum. Why not?

6)   Did you plan this book? Or write it as it came?

I had a plan in my head of where I wanted the story to go and how it would end. I wasn’t as sure how to get there until I started writing. And for The Edge series, I needed to get there in under 7000 words.

7)   What surprised you the most when you became a published?

I’m not sure what I expected out of being published. I just knew I wanted it and went after publication like a pit bull. And I still get rejected sometimes.

8)   Do you have a dedicated writing space? What does it look like?

I like to write in bed. My room is decorated very romantically (but is usually messy). But I’ll write anywhere…at work…in my car…on the couch.

9)                   What’s next for you?

I have a short vampire story titled Eternally Yours coming out later this month with Decadent’s The Edge series. And next year my first ménage, titled Birthday Bash, also in The Edge series will be released.

Excerpt:
“You all ready, Heather?” Tasha called out, probably worried about how long it took me to get undressed.

I shoved the drape of the dressing room aside. “Absolutely.”

She led me to the room across the hall as if through a slow motion dream. She was that graceful and lithe and willowy. Tranquil sounds filled the space. Waves lapping at a sandy beach.

She patted the massage table. “Up or down?”

“Excuse me?” I didn’t know there’d be a quiz.

Perusing the clipboard, she asked, “First massage?”

“That’s right.” Then couldn’t help but add, “I’m a massage virgin.”

“Well, we’ll see what we can do to remedy that.” She smiled, not taking my comment offensively, unless she was a really good actress. “Would you like to start face up or down?”

“What do you recommend?” I stopped myself from repeating the virgin reference.

She skimmed the clipboard again. “Lower back pain. Tense, knotted muscles. Insomnia. Headaches. Stress. Let’s start face down.” Looking up from my long list of afflictions, she asked, “Would you like me to step out while you disrobe?”

Would that be rude? “Of course not.” I scoffed. “We’re both women, right?”

Tasha turned her back, preparing her oils or instruments or whatever. With her attention elsewhere, I slipped out of the robe, hung it on a peg, and hopped on the table quick like The Flash, hauling the sheet over my nakedness, which I still wasn’t sure was appropriate. Oh, well, what the hell? She’d just have to deal with it. I planted my face in the face donut and waited.

The acoustics transitioned into raindrops on a tin roof. Occasionally a clap of friendly thunder rumbled in the distance to mix things up. She positioned me like a rag doll, placing my arms at my sides on the outside of the sheet.

“Comfortable?” she asked.

“Yes,” I mumbled.

I fixated on her delicate bare feet, her toenails painted a fuchsia color. The fringe of her sarong nearly tickled the floor as she gracefully glided around. A silver chain encircled her ankle. How I wished I could be more like her. Free-spirited. Serene. Bohemian.

“Be sure to tell me if I rub too hard.” She rested her palms on my skin, and I tensed.

“Okay.”

“Relax, Heather.”

“I am,” I protested.

About the Author:
Left for dead in an enchanted forest, Kelli was raised by wolves, which explains her thick coat of fur and keen night vision. As an adolescent, she was exiled from the pack due to her love of well-done steak smothered in ketchup (her penchant for blackened beef has also caused her ejection from several fine eateries). On her own, she roamed the streets, eating from dumpsters and sleeping in abandoned dog houses. Cold, starving and destitute, Kelli turned to the oldest profession—writing. Since her fall from grace, she has penned several smutty stories for which she has received many accolades. And despite her limited vocabulary, inability to punctuate properly and her well-documented spelling disability, Kelli has collected some awards (some of them for her writing). But what she wants most in the world is to return to the enchanted forest and her pack. As soon as she figures out north from south and east from west, she will do just that.

Saturday Promo - Leah Braemel....

Blurb:

Ryan Porter is a sculptor, and beneath his callused hands, even the most rigid metals bend to his will. So, too, does his girlfriend Megan--a confident, strong woman who delights in submitting to Ryan's dominance in the bedroom.
Megan is a Mountie, and she's spent the past few years in the Arctic following her career dreams. Family obligations kept Ryan at home, but their love survived the distance thanks to several hot visits. A Mountie always gets her man, and Megan is bound and determined to keep Ryan.
Now Megan's with Ryan for the holidays...but how long will this visit last? She's always been willing to do anything Ryan desires, but will he finally tell her that all he needs for Christmas is her?

Excerpt:

"There's the beautiful Mountie who always gets her man."
That voice! That sexy, half-mocking, gorgeous, friendly voice. Megan Sullivan searched the crowd waiting outside the baggage claim area for its owner. His long legs clad in trademark denim, Ryan Porter stood in the middle of the concourse, his mouth pulled up on one side in the grin that caused her knees to wobble every single time.
Pulling her biggest suitcase behind her and wrestling with the carry-on she'd balanced on top of it, she battled her way through the throng and hurried toward him.
Once she rounded the barrier, he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her off the ground in a full-body hug. "Hey, you. I've missed you."
Ignoring the amused spectators, Ryan lowered his head to capture her mouth with his. Pure male confidence, shouting to the world, "Yeah, she's mine," came through loud and clear from the hard press of his lips to the way his hands kneaded her ass.
When he finally pulled away, both of them breathless, Meg left her arms hooked around his neck, loving the feel of his body against hers. Her clit pulsed, needing to be touched by his long callused fingers. Her pussy heated and her nipples ached in anticipation of his mouth on them.
"That wasn't an I've-missed-you kiss." It had been a full-blown I-want-inside-you kiss.
"No, it wasn't just an I've-missed-you kiss," he corrected.
She rested her forehead against his chest, the long-seated loneliness that had plagued her up north finally leaching away. "I thought you were supposed to be in Montreal until tomorrow."
"Are you kidding? And waste even one day with you?"
Meg's breath stuttered when he cupped her head and kissed her again, this time softer, sweeter, showing none of the blatant possessiveness of the first kiss. This one whispered of need and desire. "I love you, Meg."
"I love you too." She loved the way he kissed, the way he felt against her, the way he made her feel feminine instead of the hard-ass bitch she'd been called far too often on the job. She loved the way he smelled of sawdust and... She leaned in and sniffed him deeper. "Why do you smell like roses?"
"Because Amy's into her nesting phase." His grimace and fake shudder made her laugh. "She's making homemade soaps and shampoos, claiming they'll be safer for the baby. So naturally she's using us as her guinea pigs. Her latest batch is some hippy-dippy rose petal shampoo so me and Derek and Noah all smell girly-girl. I tell ya, pregnant women are seriously dangerous to us guys." He dipped his head to whisper in her ear, his russet hair tickling her nose. "I'll pay you to convince her to make something more manly."
"You mean like new car scent or burnt motor oil?"
"Yeah, now you're talking." He rounded his free hand as if there were a basketball in front of his stomach. The laughter made his amber eyes almost glow though others might have blamed it on the bright sunshine streaming through the glass roof. "Wait'll you see her. She's out to here. Derek won't let her get behind the wheel anymore, she's gotten so big."
"I can't wait to see her again." Amy had been her roommate in college and they'd become fast friends. When Amy had started dating Derek, Megan had found herself on a double date with Derek's older brother Ryan. Though she'd expected to be bored when she'd learned Ryan was an artist, she'd been fascinated by his energy. After spending the night debating movies (he preferred art house movies where she loved action) and music (they both loved the same groups), he'd asked her for another date. Three months later, he'd asked her to move in with him.

Welcome back Loose ID author, Nona Raines...

Hi, Nona, welcome back! So happy to feature you on my blog today to promote your new release, "His, Hers & Hers". HOT cover!! Looking forward to hearing what you've been up to since we last spoke. Loads of luck with sales and success... :)

First of all, Hi Rachel, and thanks for sharing your blog with me today!

1)  Who is your favourite author and why?

There are so many authors I enjoy that I don't believe I could pick just one. Mary Balogh comes to mind, though, as someone who really evokes emotion in a story. That's something I'm drawn to as a reader and try to emulate as an author.

2)  When did you first consider yourself a writer?

I've considered myself a writer "in my head" ever since I was young and discovered I had a talent for writing stories. I think I considered myself an "official writer" when my first book got published. There's nothing like having someone else believe in your work—someone who's not your friend or your momJ.

3)  Describe your writing space?

My writing space is on the sofa with my dog Iris curled up next to me or on my bed with my cats walking all over me.

4)  What are you reading now?

I'm one of those people that usually has three or four books going at a time. Right now I'm reading Lethal Limits by Mia Downing, Unlaced by Lynne Connolly and Ashes and Wine by Taryn Elliott.

5)  How many books have your written?  Which is your favourite?

If you're talking about published books, I've written five and one short story. I've written several books that will never see the light of day because they're such messes. But they say the first million words are just practice. J As for which one's my favorite, that's like asking "Who's your favorite child?" Each one means something special to me. My latest release His and Hers and Hers is special because it's my first ménage romance, and it's an FFM ménage.

6)  What comes first, plot or characters?

It depends. Some of my stories stem from a situation that makes me wonder "What if…" I suppose that's the plot coming first. Other times, I'm captured by a character. His and Hers and Hers came about when I was thinking about what might happen when a third person is invited into an established couple's relationship. Will the relationship survive? If the third person is a friend, will the friendship be destroyed? What happens when messy emotions like love, fear and jealousy come into play?

7)  Do you ever suffer from writer’s block?

I haven't so far, knock on wood (*knocking on my head*). But whenever I finish something I get a bit nervous, hoping I'll be able to pull off another book.

8)  What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

I'm pretty boring. I like to read, watch movies and hang out with my pets. I used to roller skate, but all the roller rinks near me have closed up L.

9)  Tell us about your latest book?

As I mentioned earlier, His and Hers and Hers is an FFM ménage romance. Here's a blurb:

Kyla Denster and Jordan Brougham are passionately in love. Kyla knows she's lucky to have a guy who uses all his tricks to keep her happy in and out of bed. Jordan knows he's lucky to have such a hot, adventurous girlfriend.

But neither of them knows that their best friend, Cassie DeSantis, wants them both. Cassie's painful past has taught her not to wear her heart on her sleeve.  She keeps quiet, afraid that revealing her feelings would mean losing the two people she cares for most.  Things change one night when an impulsive kiss leads to the three of them spending an incredibly hot night together.

When the couple wants more of Cassie, she leaps at the chance to be with them. But problems arise at her insistence that no one mention the L word and when Jordan and Kyla clash over how to deal with disapproving family.  Their triad relationship will only survive if they all stand together to prove that three is the perfect number—when all three are in love.

Let me also share an excerpt with you:

She heard Jordan’s low rumble and Ky’s giggle. Then Kyla’s voice came from the doorway. “Cassie.”
Cassie’s mouth went dry. Kyla stood there wearing nothing but a tiny black thong and an impish grin. Her hard brown nipples pointed straight at Cassie and her generous breasts begged to be caressed and kissed. Cassie’s own nipples tightened in response.
Kyla’s eyes flashed as though she knew exactly how turned on Cassie was. Her smile hitched a little higher. “Dessert is now being served. In the bedroom.”
Cassie pushed back her chair and rose, her body tingling with anticipation. Kyla beckoned her with a crooked finger and Cassie followed her down the hall. When they reached the bedroom, Kyla stopped.
“One thing. Entrance here requires special dress. Or undress, I should say.” She smiled. “Let me help.”
Ky assisted as Cassie stepped out of her shoes, socks, and pants and peeled off her top. When she stood only in her bra and panties, Ky stepped in close. “I’ll undo your bra.” Her warm breath tickled Cassie’s neck, her bare breasts, and hard brown nipples teased Cassie’s skin as she wrapped her arms around Cass and unfastened her bra.
“You can keep those on…” Ky traced her finger down the seam of Cassie’s pink bikini panties. “For now.”
Cream drenched her pussy at the wicked promise in Kyla’s tease. Ky took her hand and drew her through the doorway. “Come on.”
Jordan sat on the bed, in a pair of black briefs, already distended by his rising cock. Dark hair dusted his chest, and Cassie’s fingers itched to feel its texture, and the warm skin underneath. More than that, she wanted to caress the bulge that grew bigger the more she stared. His green eyes were bright, his expression dreamy. His smile, the smile she loved, still hitched up a little higher in one corner. “Hey, Cass. Ready for dessert?”

10) What’s next for you?

Well, I've finished an m/f novella that I'm shopping around. We'll see what comes of that. I'm also working on a few other things that I'm not quite ready to talk about (we writers like to remain mysterious, y'know)J

Thanks again for having me here today, Rachel!
